Yee Haw for Birthdays!

Over the weekend we attended the birthday party of one of Shane's preschool classmates.  The kids were really looking forward to the party because not only was there bound to be cake there, but also because it was a western themed party with pony rides!! 

Here is Shane with the birthday girl!  He was excited to be wearing his cowboy hat and boots!  And he also loved this swing thing as he soon discovered he could do it all by himself!!

Faith was delighted to ride the pony!!  She was able to ride Casper, the pony, four times!  Even though it was just a ride up and down the street, she was so happy!

Shane's turn - he liked it, but once was enough for this cowboy!  He preferred the swing!

The cowgirl showing once again that she is loving it!  With all the excitement, neither Faith nor Shane stopped playing to eat lunch!

At the end of the party it was pinata time!  It was very entertaining to see mostly 3 year olds trying to lift the heavy wooden bat and try to hit the boot pinata!  Shane didn't do much damage! It was a great party and a fun way to spend our Saturday afternoon!
