Happy (late!) 4th of July! We hope everyone had a wonderful day celebrating the independence of our nation and the freedoms we are able to enjoy! It was a busy day for us as being Sunday, we had church in addition to our 4th of July celebrations! Our tradition for the 4th has become that part of Steve's family comes over for a BBQ, time at the
Ventura street fair, fireworks, and a fire in the backyard! It was a great time! We are fortunate enough to be able to see fireworks from our backyard, so that makes it so easy as we don't have to fight crowds or traffic, and also that the kids can sleep through it! Yes, our kids are yet to see fireworks! The kids were so worn out from a day of fun-filled events that they actually asked to go to bed last night!
